Iron Maiden, are a heavy metal band from Leyton, East London, England, they formed in 1975. The band is mostly directed by the founder, bassist and songwriter Steve Harris. Since their beginning, the group has released fourteen studio albums, nine live albums, four EPs and eight compilations.

 

Iron Maiden are one of the most successful heavy metal bands to date, they have sold more than 70 million albums worldwide, and have done so without significant mainstream or radio support.
